I have just finished my duties being a jury member for the Graduate School of Natural Sciences (GSNS) master thesis award 2012. It was great nerdy fun to try to make some sense of Empirical equivalence, Underdetermination of theory choice, Polygonal environments, Cluster formation in deionized dispersions of hollow silica cubes, Quantum integrability and Supersymmetric gauge theory... On a different note, I also had the opportunity to get some answers from a PhD candidate as an opposing committee member during his defense. Moonlighting can be fun!
